This time, I'd like to introduce a blended yarn of SYS and wool.

While we've introduced SYS in our product section, let me briefly reiterate that it's a flame-retardant yarn made from Kanekalon®. It's classified as an acrylic fiber, and its LOI (Liquid Element Indication) value is 32, indicating sufficient flame retardancy.

The yarn I'm introducing today, SYS wool, is spun by blending this SYS with wool.

Acrylic is a fiber similar to wool, resulting in a wool-like yarn.

The blend ratio is 70% SYS and 30% wool.

Since wool itself is a highly flame-retardant yarn, this yarn naturally offers excellent flame resistance.

The yarn count is 1/12 and 1/8.

It's mainly used for upholstery.

Both images show 1/8 SYS wool.
